We’re the world’s leading provider of virtual prototyping solutions from architecture design to SW development and performance/power validation. The product manager, principal will be responsible for product direction, product management, field enablement and outbound marketing for Virtualizer, our virtual prototyping solution for SW development. The success of the role will be measured by growing the product line leadership position and reaching the business targets.

Responsibilities and Duties:
Responsible for entire product life cycle of Virtualizer including definition, roadmap, EOL to meet business objectives.

  • Interface between key customers, internal users, sales and R&D teams responsible for aligning technology development with market requirements.
  • Able to understand customer use cases in vertical markets (HPC, Consumer, A&G, …) working with technical product managers and creating convincing value narratives.
  • Works with business management, technical product management and senior executives in the business unit to strengthen key customer relationships through clear articulation of value propositions and roadmaps.
  • Works across Synopsys business units to leverage the full breadth of Synopsys technologies to increase customer value.

Qualifications:

  • MS or BS EE with 10+ years product management/product marketing experience. MBA is a plus.
  • Position is a product management position that requires strong technical background and business acumen.
  • Experience in software development tools and process from hardware dependent software to application software for embedded devices.
  • Expertise in vertical segments such as data center, consumer, A&G or others is a plus.
  • Ability to develop and manage relationships with other product managers, sales and executives internally and customers externally.
  • Ability to understand complex technology and translate into convincing customer conversations.
  • Familiarity with establishing new business models and cloud technologies.
  • Passion to create out-bound material and collateral which articulates the value proposition of the products.
  • Innovative, energetic leader with decisive style with attentiveness to current and future customer and market trends.
  • Proven ability to work in a matrix environment with strong organizational and program management skills.
  • Exceptional communication and public speaking skills.
  • Position will require domestic and international travel.
