Cohere Health is illuminating healthcare for patients, their doctors, and all those who are important in a patients healthcare experience, both in and out of the doctors office.  Founded in August, 2019, we are obsessed with eliminating wasteful friction patients and doctors experience in areas that have nothing to do with health and treatment, particularly for diagnoses that require expensive procedures or medications.  To that end, we build software that is expressly designed to ensure the appropriate plan of care is understood and expeditiously approved, so that patients and doctors can focus on health, rather than payment or administrative hassles.

Opportunity Overview:

We are seeking a Director of Product Management to lead our Provider Experience and Clinical Interventions product teams. This role will be responsible for collaborating with business and clinical stakeholders to set and execute on a product strategy in these areas and will be responsible for directly managing the Product Managers on those teams.

What you will do:

  • Develop a comprehensive product vision and strategy for leveraging technology to drive clinical programs that impact patients, providers, and payers at scale. 
  • Leverage data-driven insights, a deep knowledge of your end users, and collaboration with internal clinicians to invent, pilot, and scale new interventions that drive patients and providers towards higher value care and reduce administrative friction. 
  • Gain a deep understanding of the decisions made by patients, providers, and payers that leads to how patient care is delivered. 
  • Work closely with design and engineering teams to deliver solutions that have demonstrable and measurable impact.
  • Act as a product evangelist of Coheres product suite to both internal stakeholders and client clinical leadership.

Your background & requirements:

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in product management in healthcare with experience working with health plans. 
  • At least 1-2 years managing other Product Managers. 
  • Demonstrated experience in measuring product impact and aligning that with the needs of the business (Growth, Operations, etc) and the needs of customers (Providers, Patients, and/or Health Plans)
  • Experience building out a product strategy for product teams. 
  • Exceptional analytical capabilities and a dogged determination to always make decisions informed by data. 
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor cross-functional teams in a matrix organization.

The salary range for this position is $185,000 to $205,000 annually; as part of a total benefits package which includes health insurance, 401k and bonus. In accordance with state applicable laws, Cohere is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. Individual pay decisions are ultimately based on a number of factors, including but not limited to qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, and internal alignment.
